Glenworth Valley
About Glenworth Valley
There are SO many outdoor activities in Glenworth Valley, we're not quite sure where to begin!
Glenworth Valley is 3000 acres at Peats Ridge, in the beautiful NSW! Kids - turn of those televisions and computers and come and see what nature is all about!
Its Australia's largest horse riding adventure centre, so we'll start there - horse riding! They have over 200 super friendly horses to choose from, all of them having worked with kids and the trainers for a long time so there won't be anything to be nervous about if you are a beginner! They have different horses to suit each ability too, so if you are a beginner or advanced, they have a special horse for you!
They offer guided horse riding, perfect for all abilities, particularly beginners. Free-range horse riding is there for experienced riders who feel comfortable with their horses, and lead ponies are perfect for those kids aged 3 - 12 where for an hour or two they can be led around the grounds as they adjust to their horses.
Next up - abseiling! There are two different abseiling courses to choose from. One is more remote and challenging, and one has easy access and has a gentle decent. A fabulous feeling once you get over the initial nerves!
Get down! It's laser skirmish! It's common to see laser tag centres indoors, but this one is right in nature! Enjoy this team combat experience which is pain free (unlike Paintball) and is anything but messy. It will challenge you to work as a team to try and win your mission! Perfect for those kids over 14 years old, but they can take 10 years olds if discussed prior. Good luck Generals!
Next we pick...Quad Biking! A super fun way to explore the area. Every rider gets a briefing, then off you go on the open trails! SUCH an adrenaline rush! The tours are always popular with families, so a great way to spend time together!
And of course, there are the other nature activities like kayaking, mountain biking, fishing and hiking. We have to leave some for you to discover yourself!
