Sparking a lifelong love of the arts for children and families. Sometimes fantastical and funny, and always engaging, immerse yourself in the magic of the performing arts and leave with sore cheeks and full hearts.
Back by popular demand in 2023, Geelong Arts Centre’s Family Magic program will continue to captivate, inspire and entertain children under 12, as well as their parents, siblings, grandparents and carers. For many children, the Family Magic program provides their first theatrical experience and gives families an opportunity to immerse themselves in the magic of the performing arts.
Geelong Arts Centre’s Family Magic program will have the young (and young at heart!) leaving the theatre with sore cheeks and full hearts.
Geelong Arts Centre exists to foster the artists and creative communities of Geelong, and to be the window through which our city can view the world’s creative talent.
We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which Geelong Arts Centre stands, the Wadawurrung People of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past, to Elders present and to emerging leaders, recognising their continuing connection to land, water, culture and community.

Discover an amazing year ahead of Creative Learning experiences that will spark a love for the creative industries and open you and your students up to a world of opportunity.
We are excited to reveal a 2023 Creative Learning program designed to entertain, educate and encourage creative learning in the classroom and beyond!
Giving students from Kindergarten and Prep right through to Year 12 access to enriching, educational arts programs, these applied learning experiences aim to stimulate the imagination, foster creativity, and transform how students see themselves and the world around them.
Offering a diverse suite of programs ranging from music to movement, puppetry and theatre, the 2023 program offers teachers a unique and creative way to explore key themes and ideas embedded within the Victorian curriculum, ranging from sustainability to First Nations and immigration.
