About Bluewater Lagoon

Those Queensland summers get very hot, so why not take the family to a fun water park on your next family day out! Bluewater Lagoon is a fun water attraction for the whole family. You know what else is great? There is no admission! So you can have all the splashes you want, and it doesn't break the budget.

Bluewater Lagoon is three tiered lagoons, and overlooks the beautiful Pioneer River, which is in the heart of Mackay's city centre.

The main pool is HUGE so there is plenty of space to splash and play. In fact, the area of pool covers the equivalent to THREE 50m swimming pools - that's a lot of pool space! The pool is open all year, and you can visit knowing that your kids are safe from any nasties that might be normally in Queensland waterways.

The two main lagoon areas are connected by a waterfall, and for those kids who love a good water slide, look no further than the 19.5m slide that runs from the top lagoon to the middle one.

Those playful kiddies will love the children's water playground which features a host of fun activities such as the drop buckets - just watch out above! There is also a lagoon slide for them.

It's a great way for the kids to keep cool during summer, and enjoy how great the Queensland winter is!

So head on over to Caneland Park with those swimmers, and make your family day out EXTRA cool!
