About BlackCard Cultural Tours
There is so much rich history within Brisbane's Aboriginal culture, why not enjoy a tour with the family to really walk in the footsteps of the Aboriginal people.
BlackCard Cultural Tours offer three different experiences that will take you on a rich cultural experience as you walk in the footsteps of local Aboriginal culture & traditions, within Meanjin (that's Brisbane City)
First you can choose the 90 minute Brisbane Aboriginal Cultural Tours through Meanjin.
Here the family can enjoy a rich cultural experience taking you through some hidden installations in the city, with a highlight of the tour being a trip to the Museum of Brisbane, as well as King George Square and across to Roma Street Parklands before exploring the Queensland Greats wall. Here you can see the plaques of a number of First Nations Australians within this special tribute
Also 90 minutes is the Kurilpa Point and Cultural Precinct Walking Tour. This introductory tour around South Brisbane’s Cultural Precinct allows you to explore one of the largest (& most exciting!) collections of Aboriginal public artworks. You might even be inspired!
Kids can also discover hidden gems as they make their way to Kurilpa point along the Brisbane River (Maiwar).
